Son's assignment!

Love my baby boy because he lets me take over when a crafty projects is assigned by his teacher!

This is the latest.   I used 12"x 18" watercolor paper 140lbs and cut with SCAL3 and Black Cat.

Andrew's Birthday

Andrew, my baby son's friend, was in November.  I used SCAL3 to make the shirt and the number 2, which were Andrew's number on his soccer team.  He likes angry birds and I was able to get this lovely file from The Lady Wolf.  She is very talented and generous.

I love that I can make personalized cards!

Bumble Bee

My son's friend's birthday was in October.  I made a card featuring one of the Transformers characters.  Inside I use a pop up to congratulate him.  I apologize for not given credit to the file designers, but I couldn't find/track down their site.

Wedding Card

My eldest kid asked my for a card for her friend's wedding.  The base card paper has a nice shimmering look as well as the grey paper I used for the butterfly and the medallion.  Roses were made using paper with graphics.

Thank you gift

I made a few cards to thank a teacher.  She liked the cards.  I made another hanging pot/tent card.  I quilled the flowers as well as the pot, and made grass to fill up the basket.

I included a couple of hand embroidered cards with designs from Form-A-Lines's sea life set.
.

Another all-occasion card featuring a rose framed in a lovely curly frame both made with Spellbinders dies.

I had to test that all cards could fit into the box I made.  It took me three tries until I got something I could use.

I almost forgot to showcase the last card.  I used Spellbinders, Martha Steward,  and Sizzix dies/punchs

another June card

I made this card for a lady who retired from my son's school.  Hand embroidery using shimmering thread.  In the back of the card, I stamped this little stamp that I really like.

Catching up

For my daughter's 8th grade promotion, I made her the card below.  The owl is part of the paper's graphics. The owl is associated with wisdom and knowledge which is very appropriate for the occasion.  I used nesties to create a book where I hand wrote the sentiment.  Furthermore, from seeing Becca's graceful use of layering, I rested the book on a medallion and then a mat.  The roses were made with one of the rolled roses from Spellbinders.
